Alfreton Town v York City – National League

York City achieved back to back wins for the first time in a couple of months with a dramatic 3-2 win over Alfreton Town. The home goal scorers were scored by Keane (33) and Daniels (55). With York’s away goals coming from Connolly (13) and a double from Parkin (52, 70 pen) inside the Impact Arena in front of around 1000 fans.

One of those fans was a friend of ours who now lives in the area after moving there recently. He supports York City as well, so was very pleased to be ticking off a new ground that he’d not been to before. He was even more pleased that York won the match but apparently on Saturday it could have easily been won by the home side as well. As arguably certain decisions along with a little bit of luck played a massive part in the eventual scoreline. Here are some more picture from his day out:
